Deep Dive: Love Is in the Chair

Relax, take a nice breath, and join us as we go beneath the surface and uncover conversation treasures to bring up.

We’re deeply honored that over the past 67 years, hundreds of families have chosen to commemorate big milestones and sweet moments here at Woodland Hills. A special place for members, the Club often appears in our fondest memories—and in our favorite photos!

Of all the stories and celebrations that have included Woodland, though, it’s hard to imagine that there could be a tale more treasured than Cara and Steve Daniele’s.

Having met here, working side by side as lifeguards and swim coaches, they’re marking their 20th wedding anniversary on July 15, 2026.

And now, while continuing to enjoy precious summers at Woodland with their parents and siblings, the two of them are carrying on the family tradition with their own kids—including swimming with our beloved Flying Fish!

“After all these years,” Cara says, “I think our favorite place to be together is STILL Woodland Hills.”
