Membership

Woodland Hills is more than a place. It’s a community.

Founded in 1958, our organization continues to thrive because we value both tradition and fresh ideas. Some of us are brand-new members. Some have belonged for 50 years or more!

Interested in joining? After reading the information here, please click the APPLY FOR MEMBERSHIP button below to submit your application and non-refundable $150 fee. We’ll be glad to add you to our waiting list.

Just joined? Welcome! Here’s some helpful information for you.

Full Membership:

As a Full Member Household, you own a share in Woodland Hills, and your household has one vote. Full Membership requires a $300 initiation fee, an $800 bond, and the payment of dues annually ($600, as of February 2026). The $800 bond is fully refundable as long as there’s another family ready to take your spot when you decide to resign.

Associate Membership:

An Associate Membership is ideal for a household that’s on the waiting list for Full Membership and is eager to dive right in. An Associate Membership costs $750 per household, and it’s valid for one season. Associate Members have no share in Woodland Hills, and no voting rights.

We have a limited number of Associate Memberships available each year. If you’re next on the waiting list for Full Membership when an Associate Membership becomes available, we’ll contact you (typically in early April) and give you the option to participate in this program.

What Membership Means:

When we say Full Members "own a share" with "one vote," we mean it literally. Rather than being a business that’s selling access, Woodland Hills is a nonprofit club that’s member-owned. As a Full Member, you help elect the Board of Directors, you have a say in major decisions like large capital expenditures or borrowing on the Club's behalf, and you hold a real financial stake that's refunded when you resign. If the Club were ever sold, members—not outside owners—would share in the proceeds.

That's what sets Full Membership apart from an Associate Membership, a guest pass, or a membership at any other kind of club like a rec center or a gym. You’re not just welcome here. You belong. More on What Membership Means

Passes That Members May Purchase:

  • Guest Passes - $10 for one guest, on one visit
(For admittance, a Guest must be accompanied by a Full or Associate Member.)

  • Caregiver Passes - $100 for one person, for one season
(For admittance, a Caregiver must be accompanying a child from a Full or Associate Member Household.)

What I love about Woodland Hills is that it’s a friendly, fun swim club.
What I love about Woodland is the families!
I love relaxed days with family and neighbors.

It truly feels like a neighborhood pool—great people, a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere, and a staff that genuinely cares.
